"Hallelujah" - Praise the Lord

Bible says "Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!". There is no specific time that the Bible said to praise Him, but it says in any circumstance, in all things, give praise to Thee.

But how many of us, when we are down right bottom at our own valleys, continue to praise Him, or do we usually just blame God for putting you in the deep valleys and continue to bear grudges with Him?

I say to you, in all things praise the Lord! This is because

firstly,

¹⁷ The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help.

He rescues them from all their troubles.

-psalm 34:17(NLT)

The Lord did not leave you in the valley and walk away from you, instead, He watches you during the whole process. He's teaching you to lean on Him as your pillar of strength in these times and also teaching you to submit to Him and trust Him.

It's never by our strength that we go through situations but by the Strength and the Grace of God that pulls us through. Thank God for that(:

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

God made us from the start and He penned down in our little book of Life everything we pray, everything; big or small- He wrote them all. Wont you think that God knows what you are going to ask from Him? Why then do we still pray and seek God? we can easily go - " God, you know what i'm going to ask you for. so please in Jesus name bless me, Amen "

but Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of the Lord. it is for us to gain faith in Him,when we seek him and pray and give praise, that He will deliver us out of any situations. Speaking the word of God out increases our Faith in Him and with that "He rescues them from all their troubles." (psalms 34:17 (NLT))

In conclusion, in all things, and everything that breathes - PRAISE THE LORD! (:

This place is kinda dead again, but i'm here to fill up the emptiness. hahaha.

Even though the above song is sang in service and some of you might think it's quite difficult to sing or something, but this whole song has alot of meaning that we ought to learn.

When should be the right time to praise God, happy or sad times. I know you guys know, but sometimes it's really more than just knowledge itself, but it's more of the actions and doing it. We can also say yes i will do it, but truthfully, do we?

Praising God during a tough time is difficult, but that is when you humble your heart and tell God you deserve all the glory and all the praise. (:
& the bible says, Our Father do not despise the humble but will exalt them. God sees your heart and sees your intentions. Let's keep our heart and intention right. Do not complain like the children of Israel and be stuck when our promise land is just right before us.

So let's continue to give Jesus the highest praise, in service or cgm.

I think JINGYINGGG is so cool, though it is like JINGYING GG. HAHAH! Just kidding~~

Wanna share somethinggg! :D
In the bible it says ,

Mark 12:30 (NKJV)
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment;

With all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and with all our strength.
It's ALL, and this is the first commandment God have given to us. :D

So, what does heart, soul, mind and strength means?
The 4 most important factors of LOVE. :D

1. HEART,
It is what we know in our heart, that we know we should.
And of course, whatever we do we have to do with our heart, with sincerity and love.
We cant do anything without out heart, without love,.
God love us, and whatever He plans in our lives, it's out of love, from His heart.
God honour us, so we have to honour Him back with love from our Heart. :D

2. SOUL,
Let's weaken the negative and increaset the positive thinking! :D

3. MIND,
Our mind is where all our thoughts and actions go through from. :D
So lets not think about other things, remove all distractions and FOCUS ON GOD. :D

4. STRENGTH,
a. COMMITMENT. (:
b. CONVICTION. (:
c. STAMINA. (:
let's get commited, and have conviction, I MUST, and build up our spiritual life! :D

and all, it brings down to LOVE. :D

Greater things!

Hello guys!

Just wanna share with you guys my Yellow Ribbon run! Idk how many people are actually still checking this place out, but no harm blogging. hahaha.

As some of you guys know, i actually joined this 6km run with a few of the DGs and during the whole of the race i got this revelation.

i was actually struggling to wake up and go for the run, but i had this "thing" that keeps prompting me to go for the run. So i did.

Was just thinking that in this run, I paid $30 for joining this race, got my goodie bag in the beginning, decided to put down this sunday morning and sacrifice my sleep to run, and during this race, it rained, i was dripping with sweat, yet it's covered by the rain and no one knows how "irritating" and "sticky" it is but deep inside my heart i know it's sianzxz.

& all this just reminded me of this life time race i signed myself up for, paying the price to run when i run up to the altar to "sign up" myself for this kingdom of God, yet if i don't turn up for the rest of the run, i'm wasting my price that i paid in the beginning. & wasting this goodie bag, God prepared for me to survive this race!
Throughout this race, my tears are flowing down but people can't see yet we have to continue to run to the very end. But i know deep inside my heart stays the Holy Spirit, who knows everything, the things i'm going thru. & this, i should be encouraged cause i'm not alone.

Our lives is just like this run in the rain, things happen when we entered and decided to enter it in the first place, but i know when we start to complete what we started at the beginning and be a good finisher, the bible also says that our Father in Heaven will help us!

Phil 1:6 (NLT)
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

You know guys! It's time to start running this race again, some of us might be walking slowly, relaxing now, but now it's time to catch up the speed, the same speed the Holy Spirit is going and flow tgt with Him.

God is good to those who are willing to seek Him first.
God loves us and regardless of what we done, He loves us still.
So love God too!!!

I love you W524, I believe strongly that greater things will come to everyone's life!
Jieying, boon, val, joshua, stanley, jingying, guanzhi, xinyi, kristacia, kelvin, mitchell, faith, jane, jamie, shireen, shirley, charmaine, kohong and others who are gonna be added to our small family in future.

Pray that those who went for KEL zone meeting was really blessed by our dearest ZS Kelvin, cause i really caught this fire that Kelvin has, his vision for our zone. Let's catch this fire so strong guys! We're all part of this wonderful great zone called the KEL ZONE! :D

Thanksgiving

hey guys!

let me share with you all what pst aries preached for offering!

¹⁶ But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
¹⁷ And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
¹⁸ He said, “Bring them here to Me.” ¹⁹ Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.

Matthew 14:16-19(NKJV)

This is the parable of Jesus feeding the five thousand with five loaves and two fishes. You must be wondering how did Jesus managed to feed 5000 men with just 5 loaves and two fishes. The key is in v.19:

"And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples"

In one version, the word "blessed" means to "give thanks" or simply, Thanksgiving.

Therefore, you see, just by giving thanks alone, Jesus is able to feed 5000 men!

so, Thanksgiving brings forth multiplication!

let's start giving thanks to the Lord in one way or another, whether is good or bad, give thanks!

If you dont know what to thank the Lord for, thank Him for giving us a great cell group leader like Jieying! or thank Him for wonderful members in the cg! As we give thanks to the Lord, multiplication will come forth in Jesus name!

It's me again updating the cell group blog! ( which i'm supposed to do it frequently but i didn't ._. forgive me for that!)

Anyway, it's been 2 months since the last post on the cg blog and since i haven't join you guys for service for 2 months plus or so, i would like to say something uh(:

I REALLY MISSED YOU GUYS LOADS AND MEGA LOADS AND ULTRA BIG LOADS. and i really meant it okay because every time on stage at expo when pastor say "turn to your cg members and give them a big hug", i really want to find you all but you guys are on the other side of the island.

yea and i said this because due to the lack of manpower for the muso(brass) ministry, we are only serving for expo service till the end of the year and hence, you wont be seeing me in service 1 for quite awhile uh.

last but not the least, my heart is still with the cg and anytime you guys want to fellowship, i will gladly join in! and i love each and every single one of you that is in W524, the fun and loving cell group i have ever known!

and OF COURSE!

keep praying for

1. CHC and pastor Kong and Sun and Dayan and the whole leadership board of the church alright for wisdom and strength and of course the unity in every cell groups of every zone of the church! UNITY IS POWER!

Prayer
Every time when we pray, we yearn to seek for that intimacy with God, yet our prayer seems so hollow? OR even WHY DOESN’T GOD RESPONE? Have you ever wondered why? Now let me take you on the journey ON APPROACHING GOD IN PRAYER!
Starting verse: Luke 11:1 (One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.")

My title of the message is Approaching God In Prayer
Luke 18:1
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. There is almost a universal longing within the human psychic to seek God in prayer. This is especially in difficult times. Yet, there is something about prayer that seems to repel our tendencies to pray. At times we are attracted to God in prayer, but at other times we are repelled. It is at these times that we experience the agony of a prayerless powerless life.

1st point  prayer have to be consistent
So we should not just pray during difficult times but EVERYDAY of our life!

2nd point  Prayer have to be persistence.
Matthew 7:7 (“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.)
ME: we got to keeping asking, keep seeking till SOMETHING happens! Maybe the prayer might not come to NOW. BUT SURELY God has heard OUR prayer.

God always want us to communicate with him through our prayers! Amen? NEVER STOP PRAYING!

Just like in a room, the furniture is always there, even if the lights are off and we cannot see anything, the furniture is still there.

Just like Daddy God, even in the darkness, when everything is failing us, we are so unhappy, we are so down, many contridicting people around us, but still, Daddy God is there. We may not see Him, but we can feel Him.
& it's really sometimes we cannot see something, but when we feel it, is when we really start to believe and know that regardless of what, there's always a miracle set by God.

Just like er jie say, sometimes we got to be strong and weak.
But when we are weak, is when God can talk to us in a soft and delicate voice, mould us into what He wants us to be. So we can be strong for Him, and even stronger than what we are before. So whatever we've gone through before, it'll become a testimony for Him to others. :D

Here to just update this little small space of ours! :D

I believe yesterday 's cgm and svc is really very awesome. Hope you guys enjoyed!

I also came to realise one thing and jus wanna share! :)

Everything we do, we don't do it just for show.

We can be the best worshiper in church if we want to, and we do it just for show.

We can be the nicest person on Earth, and we do it just to let people like us.

We can grow our ministry just to show people we can grow it.

We can be the best preacher in town, just to show people we can preach.

We can be the best member in the cg coming for cgm & svc, just to show people we love God.

Doesn't mean doing all these are wrong, but in the middle of all this process, we cannot cannot cannot lose the essence of the Holy Spirit.

We are to please God not men.

This period of time, as the poly students starts their new chapter of life, and as the secondary school students starts their exams, let's not lose the essence of the Holy Spirit and neglect Him. Maybe you say school and work's getting very crazy and tiring, no time to pray. But guys, God will give you the strength to move on the walk of your life.

Let's continue to seek after Him and the Word of Life.

Let's experience the Holy Spirit in a greater way this coming week of Morning/Evening prayer!

Let's pray because we WANT to, and as we pray, something greater is going to happen in our lives.

Prayers don't happen coincidentally.

This week, let's really breakthrough! Time to get tgt as W524, to pray TOGETHER, to be united in our spirit, as one. Don't lose the W524 spirit!

Hey guys!

I wanna share a revelation with all of you! (:

On my way home today from Orchestra practice today, God spoke to me about "core".

What's a Core? A core is the middle of something that gives strength to a structure. A building without a core will collapse. What's the core of a human? it's the heart. Without the heart, humans won't exist!

Recently my friend told me a story - there's this group of researchers that went to dig a hole into the Earth in search for fossil fuels and they insert a microphone into the ground to find the fossil fuels. And they had a shocking discovery, the guy who is listening to the sound picked up by the microphone heard screaming and shouting. Without hesitation, i told my friend, Heaven is Real, SO is Hell. and Hell is located in the core!

God looks at the heart in us, which is the core. Ever why God looks at the heart of the people not the other parts of our body? Because the core is where the devil starts attacking! When the core is fallen to the devil, sin would be in our body. That's why God is looking into our heart to ensure that the devil doesn't do anything funny and protecting us! Praise God for that!

So i just pray for all of you(:

Dear Jesus, I pray for my cell group W524 that you'll continue to protect our heart and our core of our body. Lord i just pray that you cleanse the core of our body from all evil things and coat the walls of our core with righteousness. Once again i thank you lord for all the victories you have won for W524 and i just pray all this in Jesus name, Amen.

This sat we're having our Frisbee!!! It's Wednesday now and it's not too late to like invite your friends! Let's really let this be a platform for us to invite our friends! And after Easter! We're having our Captains Ball match!!! I believe all our netball girls should be quite interested!!!

Let's really try to form teams to go for this event! Gonna be exciting to fight the other cgs in the zone! BUT OF COURSE! FRIENDLY MATCH! :D

4) IMPRESSIONS! (3rd April 2010)

A bi-annual orchestra concert by our St. Hildan Wind Orchestra (SHWO). Jingying and Charmaine will be playing for the main band and Xinying will be playing for the alumni band!
Do come down to support after Easter that day!!! :D

Stars are His promises

Hello W524!!!

I believe Jieying will be sharing with us this week a very amazing news!!! I'm so excited too! :D hahaha! I'll let her break the news to you guys herself! :D

Anyway, i shared during cgm last sunday that I'm currently having a Stars Campaign! If you don't know, yay, let me share! HAHA. :D

That day i was so inspired after youth meeting and continued reading my bible. But God just spoke "stars, stars, stars". So i decided to look up for stars in the bible instead of reading the bible.

Gen 15:5
Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

God bought Abraham out of his tent(limitation) to count the stars. He wanted Abraham to stop being stuck in his mindset that he cant get a son at the age of 99, and he bought his outside to count his promises which is the stars in the sky!

Likewise, for me, i plan to make a wish everyday and put into the cup of promises. God in this verse says, if we're able to count the stars, we're able to have them! So I'm gonna count my stars just like Abraham! I believe God's promises for me will come to pass, even though it will get hard! (:

PROMISES BREAKS LIMITATIONS!

Amen! So it had been a week since this stars campaign, AND GUESS WHAT!

2 of my stars/prayers came true already!

It's amazing how God speaks and how He answers!!!

If you're willing to pray and count the stars God is giving you, God WILL give it to you!!

I'm so inspired!!! I believe I'm going to pray even more now!!

As What Pastor Kong shared during youth meeting, many foreign delegates are coming to see us! in particular, us youths in City Harvest are doing and bring back what they see to their own churches to teach their people! So, Let us be as Bold as Samson! Step out of our comfort zone and rise up to the occasion to take part in one of these events! Dont forget we are called to be the Salt of the Earth and Light of the World! (:

In total, This year there will be 17 mini games and competitions such as Word Power, Pulpit design, Are you smarter than a teenager etc!

Anyway, yesterday Youth meeting was really very very awesome, and Pst Kong gave an alter call for those who want to give their whole to God, go into full time ministry, and it's really boomz.

It's amazing how PK's generation could make a church of youths which people calls them a giant Sunday school to City Harvest Church today where we're doing great things for God today! If Annabel could lead a cg at 16, GUYS YOU CAN DO IT TOO. If Pst Tan's wife Jac could lead 200+ ppl at a age of 19, YOU CAN TOO.

What i only regret that is i didn't came to church earlier, and now im 18 already. But nvm, everything happens for a reason! And you guys are like majority 15, 17 and all. treasure your youth!! :D

But it doesnt only take just a response, but much more, a response with committment, a response where you put your heart and soul, where you put your life, where you're willing to lay down everything, every details and actions.

Sacrifice is a choice,
Sacrifice is a decision,
Sacrifice is just a yes and no.

Be that youth that will change the generation.
W524 is the generation.

Yesterday before svc i said, i want to run to the alter and catch a fire, i did and caught a vision, and i hope those who went caught something too! I made my decision! It's not too late to make yours too! :D

Hey guys!!

I BELIEVE YOU HAD FUN YESTERDAY/TODAY @ FOODTOGENIC!
I had fun tooo! & YAYY WE WON 2nd TODAYY CONGRATS GUYS!!!!!!

Anyway, I believe most of you were at Service last Saturday! & i was really blessed tt day!

Tt very week, Pst Margaret Court came. She didnt preach but shared about herself and life being changed which is awesome!

What touched me the most tt day was when during alter call, she asked whoever who wants to receive Christ to raise up their hands. i think no one put up their hands till one guy rise up & she waited again & again. But it was only him.

Then she said, "come up front, dont be shy."

Just for awhile, nothing moved but that guy who rose up his hands just stood up, and walked to the front without anyone, just alone. Just because of this decision he made, Bryan & Ian (W459) went up, alone too. & after them, more went down then slowly the front was being filled. That day i just felt God so real in church, even though He is always real, but the way Pst Margaret deliver her message was different, it wasn't like booomzzzzzzz, but slowly and slowly.

This reminds me of those young days, we being so innocent and fearless, how we receive Christ slowly, waiting to be touched from God that people talked about and know how real this God that Pst is talking on stage. & when we get touched, this newly convicted heart made us fearless and we just do what we want to do without caring what others have to say. Just like that guy who just went down alone.

That guy impacted me and showed me how bold actually most of us used to be, cause of this convicted heart, we decided to do something out of the norm. But on this journey, we got bumped, bang and all, and our fearless-ness just slowly disappeared.

But I guess everything links back to the first love, when everything is just gentle and smooth and we're not rushing anything, waiting to be touched by God again and getting convicted once again, being fearless once more, just doing things by what we called to without considering the factors.

Maybe one day, because of your fearless-ness, the decision you make would impact much more people, people's destiny to be change! Just like tt guy, he stepped down and more stepped down to the alter. Amazing!

Let's catch the fire from Pastor Kong later on and be convicted once again, catching back our first love that's so strong, that allows us to step down to the alter call that very day of your life. Let's run to the alter and catch the fire again!!!!

Recently, I have been listening continually to one of the two songs both by Kris Allen – Live like we’re dying and Let it rain.

This is part of the song because the rest is just the same. I was feeling down and spiritual down due to family situations that are happening around me. But I know I am going to make it and I don’t care what the devil throws at me because I have God at my side and nothing is against me! In life including our walk with God, we face many trials and tribulations that put us down and sometimes causing us to even doubt God whether is He really there.

I began reflecting and I too have many dreams and many great things that I wished to do but due to situations in life, they kept me from pursuing. However, this song perked me up and I know and I know that 2010 is indeed THE year of obtaining. Due to this, the devil is scared and always throws “things” at us to stop us from moving or to stop us from achieving great things from God. Whenever, great things are coming, the devil will always try to stop them from coming so that we are always down and not up. But God is always there and no matter what you are going through now, He is never far but close to your heart! Just like what the song says and what I had pictured in my head as the song played; the trials and tribulations that you are all going through are like the raindrops.

In our walk with God, there are sunny weather (good times) and rainy weather (bad times). When we are going through rainy weather, the tribulations pour down upon us, keeping us down and also burdening us. Emotions are natural - we will feel down, dishearted even angry at God when doubts start to creep in but the truth is God is NEVER afar and also near us (raincoat or umbrella). When we go through those times, God shares the burdens or should I say takes those burdens from us and upon Himself so that out of the rainy weather, we emerge stronger and ever fervent for God. So when you are going through tough times, always remember that these are short lived and out of these times, God will bring you out and you will emerge strong!! Also, these tough times happen to us not because of fate or because God is angry or the devil has nothing better to do BUT the devil is afraid of us and by any means does everything to stop us!

Wow, I just wrote like a sermon long for a revelation! :D:D

Been ages since i blog on cg blog! haha, i shall break er jie's chain of her blogging here.
So, I'm here to blog!

First of all,
I really wanna thank you all for being
such awesome cg members & friends to me!
Kinda random saying this, but it's from the bottom of my heart. ;D
Remember what i shared during cgm last last week?
I really thank God for all of you all & chc & of course God. If not I would still be the same old Jingying you all first met, which is childish & whatever. (Boon say one!)
Yeah, I believe many also see the change in me since a year ago.

& i'll still carry on changing & have a mouldable heart for God.
Regardless what i'm going through,

Here I'm , still holding on.
Even if every step I take is a struggle,
i know God will always be there, & you guys will be there, cheering me on.
i know God & you guys believe in me, & I'll never let you all down.

That's one thing i'm sure of, that's one thing that makes me happy each time I'm sad.

Remember this song we sang during service last week? the first time i hear this song, was i think like leader's meeting, or when Pst Niko came. During Pst Niko's first visit with us, we sang this song, i felt like ya, God was really there, and this line caught me the most,

"Never ever let you go"

You know guys, we can always always say, either in our quiet time, in front of our friend or leaders or so on, that we will never ever let God go, but when we're facing something tough in our lives, we feel like giving up, where's the "i will never let you go" spirit?

Recently I'm on the Book of Jeremiah, not BOON. and i read this,

Jeremiah 1:11-12
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Jeremiah, what do you see?" And I said, "I see a branch of an almond tree."Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word."

God asked Jeremiah what do you see, and Jeremiah was able to say God i can see what you're asking me to see. & He answered so confidently, the verse didn't say, "then Jeremiah paused and look very long and pondered and so on", but it says, "I see a branch of an almond tree"

He answered so clearly like, a branch not just a tree but a branch, and not apple tree or orange or banana(i like banana!) and he told God a branch of almond tree.

Jeremiah was able to see what God sees, and sees it so clearly & after all this process, the verse says, You have seen well for i am able to perform my word! & Whenever God speaks His word, God always carries it out, only in matter of time!

So conclusion!

1) Stand in God's position and see your situation in His view (Heaven view)!
Don't stand in your position(Earthly view) and give Him your own report of your situation.

2)See what God wants you to see, CLEARLY.
(Heaven view is always higher than Earth view! That's why we're able to see everything clearly! Have a good eyesight!)

3) After doing all this, God is ABLE to perform His word in your life!

4) Always go back to your first love. (additional)

Because sometimes we might forget why we are doing things we're doing now, so remember the first time why you're doing it! :D
Like what Jieying shared during CGM last week, remember the ship, the anchor point and the harbour! Return to the harbour!

So guys, regardless of what situation you're facing now, stand in God's position and see from His view. Even though you dont know why sometimes you're facing this weird situation you're facing now, trust in God and remember this 4 points, it helped me, i believe it will help you too! :D

So never ever let God go, This is my cry and promise to God every night when i talk to Him.

Hey guys! I'm here to update you on the latest happenings! :D

1. Weekend Services with Rev. Paul Scanlon is this Saturday! Do remember to come prepared for the Word on Saturday and remember to invite your friends along! 2 per month!

2. Weekend Bible Study classes is ON at level 4 cafe at 2pm for Getting Started, Victorious Living etc. and 1.45pm for Christian Lifestyle! Please reach church latest 5 mins before the lesson commence! that is 1.55pm for GS and VL and 1.40pm for CL! and those who haven't got your books, please go and get your books at Attributes this Saturday!

3. Chinese New Year Services is on FRIDAY,12th February 5pm @ EXPO HALL 1! Do make arrangements to attend this service before all the reunion dinners and Ang Pao Collections! OH and remember, 2 per month! Bring your friends or family for this celebration! :D

4.There will not be any cell group meeting next week! Please dont turn up at Val's house at 7pm next Friday!

Anyway, for some of you that was not in cell group last friday, Jieying has shared with us about the cell group vision for 2010! so those who missed cell group, you've a loving cell group member (ME!) that is gonna share with you!

Well, Jieying wants to multiply the cg by October this year! and yes, for those who are counting how many months more, it's 9 more months! but how are we gonna do it? simple!

3 easy steps!

Pray and Fast, Ask God to show you which friend to reach out to!
Identify his/her needs and meet it!
Invite him/her for service!

Is that simple and we are targeting 2 new friends every month! ( 1 per 2 weeks ) If Dr. Cho and Yoiedo(SP) full Gospel Church can do it, so can we! And to do that we need to APPLY CARING SYSTEM and be PERSISTENT to able to bring in the harvest! remember, P.U.S.H - pray until something happens!

Hello W524!

Yesterday happen something something horrible to me, and literally brought me back to my deepest fear but really when all these things happened, i felt there was a peace in my heart.

Peace of God. and im sure of it.

Even though my valley lasted for a few hours, i really felt lousy ttm, but God is good, cause i had friends around me encouraging me.

So W524! I want to encourage you guys that in no matter what situation you guys face, remember to find the peace of God in the situation, Kenrick said to me yesterday, "It's okay to rest, Jesus fights when you can't". Sometimes you might feel like your life is to the deepest trial and tribulation, but i heard of this before, "When things seem to be heading to a dead end, it is not the end yet."

Yesterday was a day for me to realise this very line, "I will always have reason to praise", just like King David, even when the enemies was behind him, wanting to kill him, he still praise God and eventually God opened a way for him.

Verses that really helped me yesterday,

God is good, i read all these verses before my "valley" happened, no wonder i felt a peace of God when that thing took place. My logo words turned into rhema words in just a second like this.

So guys! Read the bible to defend yourself from the attack from the devil!
Be strong every single one of you! You can talk to me about anything if you're feeling down.

For every trials and tests, it will make you even stronger than before.

In Jer. 29:12-14 it says, "Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and i will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from you captivity"

Some of us may have started the year with busy schedules and long school hours, or probably just a rather slow start. But through all these, we may have forgotten to spend time with God, to seek Him, and start afresh with Him in this brand new year.

Lets all start seeking Him with all our hearts, as verse 13 says! And God will surely also bring u out of any situation u are currently in cuz He's an AWESOME GOD!

Soooo... A reminder to all of us to build up our spiritual life! YAY :)

1) Pls pray for Chee San's brother (chee san is stanley's fren) who currently is hospitalized for lung infection and is now admitted into ICU.

2) Bible study has started! those who are still at Getting Started or Christian Lifestyle, pls ask jieying for the timing and venue for the BS. Those above CL, just wait for the Wed BS's at Riverwalk! haha!

3) AND...... CHINESE NEW YEAR is coming! not just the hong baos, but lets pray for the salvation of our family members! for if one is saved in the household, all will be saved! yay! so lets start gearing up for the festive season NOW by praying and fasting! :D

hmm... still got what... OH must rmb 22nd Feb ah! LOL!!!!!! joking joking.. :)

More THAN Enough

Hey W524!!!

I'm here to share my revelation!
Don't know if it's a old revelation to you, but it's definitely a new one to me cause i never thought of it this way!

Last Saturday i was serving on stage & Annabel started with "More than Enough, You're more than enough..." & suddenly God said "I am more THAN enough not more THEN enough"

THAN & THEN.

It's really amazing how God use people to create words and make the meaning of 2 almost identical words totally different when used in a sentence. hahaha.

More THEN Enough shows that only when God give us more, then we will have just enough.

But if....

More THAN Enough, mean that God will give us more than enough, in abundance and we dont need to worry about getting just enough or what, but more than enough.

Every time i hear Beautiful's bridge which is "More than enough", i would think of all the wonderful things God did for me which is really in abundance. haha God is Good!!

Ya, just a short one.
So guys! i just want to encourage you all, to think this mindset of "God is more THAN enough", God is good & He loves us!

Anyway God is really good, very good and i know you will agree! haha!

Me (Kelvin) plus some ppl from cg went up to the rooftop and sang to the top of our voices XD
Other ppl than were there would think that we're crazy :P

Anyway... we recorded our very first CELL GROUP ALARM / RINGTONES !!! XDXDXDXD
This started yesterday when Jie Ying was preaching and we assigned a song to each points :D
We have to start our day with faith!! that's why we created this alarm tones for us to hear

WE GOT A NEW LAND

AND OUR BUILDING IS ON OUR WAYYYYYY!!!!!!

Today's service is very very very very very awesome.
I'm expecting 3 post to be posted up today cause our very excited members like me Joshua and Kelvin are all blogging at the same time!!

Pst Kong shared a very powerful word and vision & before he even shared, presence of God was so so so so strong that i almost cried on stage today (cause i was serving, and if i cry, wah gg i tell you), God was definitely with us today.

Pst shared this good news, and really, THIS IS THE DAY OF REJOICING. :D

& this year we are having 2 building fund, let's really start to plant our seeds this day and in like 7 8 years time, WE'RE GONNA SEE OUR AWESOME PRETTY BEAUTIFUL BUILDING. & when we look back, we know and we know, this is our work of labour, definitely with God in the picture, cause we're building this for His purpose, His glory and Jesus to be magnified!!

Let's give thanks to God now already cause it's because of Him, we have this awesome piece of land. According to our boon's map reading, because Pst havent tell us where's the land yet, it is around habourfront area!!! AND IT'S VERY CLOSE TO MY HOUSE, at least better than jurong really! hahaha.

Let's save up for our 2 building funds! & trust God for a major major blessing this year!
Just to share with you, 2008, i gave my building fund, and 2009, i received lots and lots of blessings when im finacially tight, so indeed this concept of sowing and reaping is true!!

LET'S TRUST GOD W524!!!

2010 – The New Year and the year of obtaining! This year for some may have started well but for some it may have been rocky but just like this song says your best days are yet to come and is ahead!! So long forward to the latter days!

Yesterday was the first Cell Group Meeting of 2010! The message was wonderful indeed as it was about expecting the best out of your life and while worship I received a vision from God! I saw a marathon race and I heard God saying to me and to all of us to be like a marathon runner! This year is yet like another race or a marathon, to reach the finishing point of the year expecting greater things. Through the vision, I began to see marathon runners getting ready for the race only having one goal and that is to finish the race and get the trophy. The New Year is like a marathon race – we are all runners, running our Christianity marathon and when we run, we always look forward, expecting to see the finishing line and that trophy but not to look left, right or even behind! This also reminded me of Lot’s wife who looked back and she became a pillar of salt!

So to all W524 people!! Be like a marathon runner, running to the dream that all of you have and not giving up! No matter if you fall, God is there to pick you up and encouraging you to keep on keeping on! Also, just like a marathon runner, don’t look back, left or right! Just look forward only expecting to reach your goals or dreams in life at the end of the race! So jiayou and 2010 is going to be the greatest year yet!!

Hey W524!!!

I was reading Pst Kong's daily devotion and this passage really caught my attention.

In the Bible, the Holy Spirit is likened to the wind, which means that you can feel His movement. He is likened to the fire, which means you can feel His warmth. He is likened to a river, which means that you can feel His flow. He is likened to the rain, which means that you can feel Him falling on you. He is likened to an atmosphere, which means that His presence can unmistakably permeate the whole room you are sitting in.

I think it is really amazing how God can move into our lives.

So let's feel God more in 2010 guys!

New Year

Hey guys,

This is a new year post to get us started!
I guess this layout and skin makes this blog looks a little dead, so i will try to change it soon since we have more pictures! :D

Anyway, 2010 is here and 2009 is over.
Let's all put down our bags of 2009 and leave it there, throw it if you want, but do not bring it over to 2010!

For me, 2009 had been a bittersweet year, even though it was tough, but God still show me His grace and mercy. I believe this year is gonna be an awesome year cause the bitter part is over, and the sweet part is coming!

Jieying says last Saturday that she wants to multiply our cg by Oct this year, and i believe it will happen cause nothing is impossible with our God! Let's all rise up to occasions and really help jieying fulfill this resolution of hers!

Don't think you're a young christian anymore & dont think you're a kid anymore, cause the fact is you're a kid, BUT the TRUTH is you can make use of your young to do greater things for God. When God choose you, it is you already, because you are up to it! :D

This year is a year of greater things!
Your studies, relationships, family relationships, ministry, so on... ALL WILL BE WELL IN JESUS NAME :D

Because God is good! amen?

So let's buck up and do greater things for God!
